PR Superstar’s local public relations campaign for award-winning estate agents Samuel Estates has made front page news in the area.

Our property PR campaign was the front page lead for today’s Wimbledon Post and was the page 3 lead for South London Press, the UK’s weekly newspaper of the year. The Wimbledon Guardian and local magazines are covering the story too.

The high-profile ‘SAM for Schools’ community campaign was created by PR Superstar to raise funds for schools in the Colliers Wood, Wimbledon, Balham, Tooting and Clapham areas, and to raise the profile of the local, independent estate agents in the immediate area.

Help Brave Alex Jones

A cancer patient who has undergone 14 operations to remove brain tumours is desperate to raise funds for life-saving treatment in the US.

Brave Alex Jones’ life hangs in the balance after he was diagnosed with another deadly brain tumour. Medical experts say the 34-year-old’s only hope of surviving this latest tumour is proton beam therapy at a cost of 150k – which the NHS refuse to fund. This treatment is only available in the States at The Cancer Centre, Boston. There is currently no effective treatment in the UK.

Alex’s famliy have now set up a registered charity and have launched a high-profile campaign, supported by PR Superstar, to send Alex, from Gillingham, Dorset, for life-saving treatment at the specialist cancer care centre in the US.

A special website has been created where people can find out more and make donations to help pay for Alex’s life-saving treatment in the States www.protonbeamalex.com

The BBC was the first to cover Alex’s story, including: BBC Online, BBC TV South Today and BBC Radio Solent.

ITV West News have contacted us and are keen to cover the story; and local press, the Western Gazette and Blackmore Vale magazine are running features.

‘SAM for Schools’ Community Campaign

TV presenter and actor Ortis Deley

PR Superstar client Samuel Estates is to launch a community campaign to help schoolchildren in South West London.

The award-winning and innovative residential lettings, management and sales agency, with offices in Colliers Wood and Balham, is set to launch the ’SAM for Schools’ campaign in the next few weeks.

TV presenter and actor Ortis Deley, a former CBBC (Children’s BBC) host and now a presenter on The Gadget Show on Channel Five, is keen to get involved and officially launch the campaign.

How ‘SAM for Schools’ works:

* Schools across South West London are invited to sign up for the ‘SAM for Schools’ campaign

* Parents, teachers, their families, friends and associates who are wanting to sell or let their property can  raise funds for their local school by using Samuel Estates, who will donate 15% of their fees to each school generating a successful sale or let.

Each school will choose their own worthwhile fund-raising cause — such as new computer or sports equipment, creation of a school garden or vegetable plot, more books for the school library, and so on.

PR Superstar created the campaign, with coverage in the local and regional media to follow soon!
