Wheelchair-Bound Barry Conquers Ben Nevis with Team of “Human Huskies”

PR Superstar has signed up as the latest recruit for “Westy’s Warriors” – providing pro-bono support for superman Barry West, who takes on tough challenges to inspire other wheelchair users that “anything is possible.”

A car accident left Barry, from East Sussex, paralysed from the neck down 15 years ago, but that did not stop him reaching the 4,409ft peak of Ben Nevis.

Barry was taken up the Scottish mountain – the UK’s highest peak – in a purpose-built, homemade wheelchair by his loyal and super-fit friends aka “Westy’s Warriors.” Barry is now planning an ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro.

PR Superstar has secured high-profile media coverage for Barry and his remarkable challenge, including BBC TV South East, BBC Sussex and Sussex Express. Barry also hit the headlines in The Scotsman, a Scottish national newspaper.
