PR Tactic: Using Product Reviews
to Get You News!

The likes of Madonna, P Diddy and other A-Listers wouldn’t be without them…with it being New Year and many of us having resolutions to shape up and work out, PR Superstar invited London journalists to put a celebrity personal fitness training company to the test and see exactly why they’re a must-have for the rich and famous.

So far, our client One Element is busy putting journalists from The London Evening Standard and Radio Jackie through their paces with regular sessions; The London Metro have contacted us and are keen to try it out too, following our fitness PR campaign. We’ll feature their reviews here!

Offering journalists a trial of your products and services is a great way to get publicity for your business and if they’re impressed, they could become good contacts for future stories too. Journalists are also influential and well-connected and can help spread positive word of mouth about you among a wide circle of people!

PR Superstar is a London-based b2b and b2c public relations company, with clients in Surrey, London, UK-wide and internationally – contact us on 020 8274 0807 or e-mail hello@prsuperstar.co.uk

Super Quick Press Success for Wellness Guru

Another PR Superstar PR campaign is off to a great start – with London radio station Radio Jackie confirming their attendance at the launch party of one of our new clients, within minutes of us sending out our release.

Entrepreneur and wellness PR client Kathy Geminiani’s magnetic therapy centre officially launches in Wandsworth on December 2.

Her new Bemer (Bio Electro Magnetic Energy Regulation) Health Centre uses the very latest computerized magnetic technology to provide patients with relief and recovery from a whole raft of ailments, as well as boosting health and vitality, and even sports performance and libido.

Health Writer Anna Davis of The London Evening Standard also got in touch with us and is interested to cover the story, after we sent our ’superstar’ press release to her. Wandsworth reporter Lindsay Burns from South London Press has asked to do a review of Kathy’s therapy.

Ahoy there! Naked Rowers in the News!

Naked Rowers in the News!

Rowers Roger Haines and Tom Lee took to the airwaves today to tell listeners of BBC Southern Counties Radio why they’ll be rowing 4,500 miles across the pirate-strewn and shark-infested Indian Ocean – naked in a tiny self-built wooden rowing boat.

Thanks to their oceanic escapade, the daring duo, from Teddington, Middlesex, are on course to fundraise 100k for charity.

Landlubber PR Superstar is at the helm of the lads’ PR campaign, which has already seen them splashed across the front and the inside of The Richmond and Twickenham Times.

The Richmond Magazine, Living in Richmond and Kew magazine, and Totally Richmond and Twickenham magazine will all carry features on Roger and Tom and their Indian Ocean Race 2009 in forthcoming issues. Radio Jackie will interview the boys next month too. Their national PR campaign kicks off in earnest in early 2009. Keep your eyes and ears peeled!

Big-hearted local businesses have rallied round to lend their support and help cover part of the costs for the ambitious challenge — but more financial help is needed to ensure the fundraiser stays afloat and can hit the high seas in April.

PR Superstar is taking care of the plucky pair’s local and national PR gratis; whilst our old shipmates Media Wisdom Photography and Real Eyes Marketing are kindly donating their first-class photographic and marketing skills.

For further information about Roger and Tom’s Indian Ocean Race 2009, visit www.indianoceanrace2009.com To find out more about sponsoring Roger and Tom’s efforts or making a donation to their chosen charities, contact Roger on 07739 131 031.

But why are they rowing naked? Roger and Tom will row naked for much of their 105-day journey to avoid chafing! Ouch!

‘Superman’ Charity Cyclist on Radio Jackie

Hear how ’superman’ cyclist Matt Dowse conquered a 3,000-mile journey across America on his bike for charity on Radio Jackie.

Matt and best friend Andy Wyeth rode coast-to-coast in just 19 days, with a little help from Pippa Rollitt, Matt’s girlfriend, who works at Richmond Physiotherapy.

Read all about their adventure in The Richmond and Twickenham Times.
