Much-loved Irish star Adele King tells RTE1’s flagship TV talk show, The Saturday Night Show, how Ireland’s first ’salt cave’ helped put her on the road to recovery, after an asthma attack that nearly killed her.
The hi-tech and therapeutic ‘salt cave’ in Maynooth, County Kildare, offers salt therapy to help treat people suffering with asthma and allergies.
The stage star, aka Twink, was rushed to hospital last spring following her near-death experience, with her condition at the time described as ‘very sick.’
After urgent treatment and her subsequent release from hospital, Adele underwent salt therapy sessions at the Salt Cave Climatherapy Clinic in Maynooth – arranged by PR Superstar – to help ease her asthmatic condition.
