Health PR: Keeping your business fit and well

There’s been a boom in the health and wellbeing sector. But with a mass of unregulated so-called ‘health’ products and services flooding the market, it’s important for businesses and practitioners to differentiate themselves from those companies with a less than professional approach.

Customers are looking for educated, unbiased reporting so they can make informed decisions. If you’re a health practitioner, pharmaceutical corporation, wellness brand, product manufacturer, natural remedy retailer, or healthcare service provider, a targeted health PR campaign can help grow your brand, build trust, and keep your customers fully informed.

What you can expect from a health PR campaign

As an experienced UK health PR agent, I know how to deliver ethically sound health and wellbeing campaigns – backed by evidence-based data – that capture the attention of health journalists and broadcasters worldwide.

I know that different audiences need different messages. From consumer targeted campaigns that drive sales around a new health or wellbeing product, to PR campaigns that raise awareness of research papers to health professionals or stakeholder groups: I’m focused on delivering the right information to the right people at the right time.

I work closely with leading health journalists and editors, as well as key opinion leaders, celebrities, educators, regulators, government institutions, and healthcare associations. It’s why my clients’ health and wellbeing stories appear in The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Holland and Barrett’s Healthy magazine, Top Sante, and on BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

“PR Superstar delivers time and time again, as well as keeping an eye on the details and looking after you with a personal touch. An amazing return on investment!” – William Pullen, Founder and Owner, Dynamic Running Therapy

Health PR success stories

William Pullen of London’s Dynamic Running Therapy asked me to raise awareness of his fitness and therapy service to his target audience. PR activity included a running session with William and an emphasis on mental health. Publicity was earned in the Metro and The London Evening Standard as well as GQ, Esquire, and Vogue. Read more.

I was hired by The Salt Cave’s owners to launch their natural health centre to the press and publicise this healthy alternative to pharmaceutical drugs. Their story featured in every national newspaper from The Sun, which ran a double page spread, to The Sunday Times, every major national magazine, and on the BBC, ITV and CNN. Read more.

I first worked with fitness guru Tim Walker and his business, Evolution of Man, in early 2013 to PR his no-nonsense men-only training programme, Warrior Workout. Walker opened his own gym in 2016 and ahead of the ambitious expansion, wanted to create a buzz. I secured coverage in health and fitness-focused Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Sport, Forever Sports and COACH as well as GQ, Mr Porter and Esquire. Read more.
